Game Play

Unlike many breakout style game, this game has slightly altered its view. Therefore offering a slight 3D view to the game. The game features plenty of pick up bonuses that you can collect, in fact it has over 30! Although you have to be very carefull there are many bonuses that can also cause negative effects to your paddle.

The game has 4 unlockable paddles, as you progress through the game you can unlock new ones for you to battle with. You can even collect upgrade points as you play which will allow you to upgrade parts of your ship such as the size, the speed, the power it causes and even the defense.

One aspect that really impressed me with this game, unlike many arcade games they can get a little boring as the same thing is happening on every level. With this game there are different level types, many are breakout style where as there are some top down shooter levels and even boss fights! Can you defeat them and progress to the next stage?

Graphics

This game is very different to many breakout style games, in the fact that it doesnt stick to the same old view. It has revamped its graphics to offer a slight 3d view.

The special effects in this game are also incredible, bricks breaking into little parts, spaceships being destoried and even your ball turning into fire and blowing everything up in its path. If you want fun and excitement, then this is for you!!

Sound Effects/Music

At first I was expecting the music to get annoying as arcade games are known to become slightly annoying. This however was not the case, the back ground music was not to loud and seemed to fit really well to the style of game.

The sound effects have been done really well, providing effects such as things blowing up, laser sounds and many many more! I have not seen a breakout style game like this contain this many sound effects.

Conclusion

This game was fun and really enjoyable, I loved the fact that you can unlock new paddles and even spend points to upgrade the one you have. Believe me this is needed as you progress through the stages and get to the boss battles!

I really liked the change of game styles ranging from a brick blowing up game into a top down shooter, where you also had to blow up on coming bricks so that you can collect more bonuses and destory enemies to help collect upgrade points.
